Happy Sunday!

Here is our daily schedule for Distance Learning:

Kindergarten Distance Learning Daily Schedule

8:00-8:15- Morning Meeting and Attendance Log into Google Meets

8:15-9:00- Activity Block-Students will visit the Google Classroom of their activity block teacher for the day.
Monday-Music Tuesday-Computer Wednesday-PE Thursday-PE Friday-Art

If students have completed the activity block activity before 9:00 they can draw a picture, or read a book.


9:00-9:15- Shared Reading/Read Aloud- Live in Google Meets

9:15-9:45 Reader’s Workshop-Live in Google Meets
During the first 10 minutes teach a mini lesson. After the mini-lesson students will complete independent by reading books through epic. Students will practice the skill/strategy that was demonstrated during the mini-lesson.

9:45-10:00- Restroom Break/ Stretch Break

10:00-10:25- Phonics-Live in Google Meets. After the teacher lesson, students will complete the daily phonics activity in Google Classroom.

10:25-11:25- Lunch (Students can log off during this time)

11:25-11:40- Interactive Writing/ Letter Formation Live in Google Meets. (Students will need writing paper and a pencil)


11:40-12:10-Writer’s Workshop Live in Google
During the first 10 minutes, teach a mini lesson. After the mini-lesson students will practice writing at home using any available paper. They will practice the skill/strategy that was demonstrated during the mini lesson.

12:10-12:15- Brain Break, Restroom, Stretch, Water Online Timer

12:15-1:05 Eureka Math Live in Google Meets/Lesson on Slideshow/Activity on Google Classroom
For approximately the first 30-35 minutes, I will be teaching the lesson (Using the Slideshow) and students will participate. The last 10-15 minutes students will be completing their assignment in Google Classroom.

1:05-1:10- Brain Break, Restroom, Stretch, Water Online Timer

1:10-1:40-Science/Social Studies Live in Google Meets/Lesson on Slideshow/Activity on Google Classroom
Assignments will be completed in Google Classroom

1:40-1:55-Strategy Groups Live In Google Meets Or Off Google Meets
Once I have completed beginning of the year assessments. I will begin forming strategy groups and send out a schedule so that students will know which day they will be in a group. Once I have developed a strategy group schedule/time those students scheduled to work with me will do in in a Live Google Meets and those not scheduled to meet with me can work on any activity linked to our Virtual Classroom page (Ex: Listen to Videos, Epic, Starfall, ABC Ya, ABC Mouse).

1:55-2:00- End of Day Meeting

2:00-3:30- Office Hours for Teachers- This is an opportunity for teachers to be available for any questions that you may have.
