In our 21st-century learning environments, we intentionally address the social, emotional, and academic aspects of our students' lives. Glyndale Elementary School’s mission is to inspire students to serve, lead, and grow.

Vision Statement:

Glyndale Elementary School will address social, emotional, and academic aspects of students’ lives through exploration, critical thinking, and grit. This will inspre students to serve, lead, and grow into productive and well-rounded citizens.

Welcome to another exciting school year! It is my honor to lead Glyndale Elementary. I bring over 29 years of educational experience and a deep passion for driving excellence and innovation across our campus.

Our primary mission is to foster an inclusive and engaging environment that prioritizes academic excellence, safety, and the overall well-being of every student.

  • We offer a range of programs, including special education, English language development, gifted education, and counseling services to support diverse student needs.

  • Safety is our top priority. We have secure campus entry points, regular emergency drills, and on-site staff trained in emergency response. Our visitor management system ensures that all guests are signed in and monitored.

  • Our elementary school day typically begins at 7:50 a.m. and ends at 2:20 p.m., with after-school programs available for families needing extended care. Breakfast is served in the school cafeteria from 7:15 to 7:45 am.

  • If your child is new to Glynn County Schools, please visit Central Registration at 5505 Altama Avenue in Brunswick, GA, to register. You will then proceed to Glyndale Elementary to complete the registration process. 

  • Get involved in your child’s education by joining the Glyndale PTA! Join us at Open House to find out more.

  • Technology is integrated to enhance learning, with resources such as interactive Promethean boards, Chrome Books,  and educational software that support students' digital literacy and engagement.
