About Us

Glyndale Elementary School

Glyndale opened its doors to students in the Fall of 1978. It was the first "open space" school in Glynn County! This design, very popular in the 1970's, allowed movement across class areas by both teachers and students without the restriction of walls.

In 2003, Glyndale underwent construction and remodeling, creating individual classrooms in each of the "pods". We had a ribbon-cutting ceremony that year as Glyndale celebrated its 25th Anniversary and our brand new look!
