WELCOME TO OUR CLASS!!
My name is Susan Boyd and I will be your child's teacher this year. My teacher assistant is Ms. Vicki Bunkley. I have been in a classroom in one capacity or another for the past 21 years and I love what I do. I am the proud mother of four boys, and I love spending time with them. We enjoy traveling and going to concerts. I am a huge fan of music.
My paraprofessional is Ms. Vicki Bunkley and this will be her first year at Glyndale Elementary. She spent her previous years in the Glynn County school system providing services as an interpreter to students of varying grade levels. We are excited to have her as a part of our pre-k team and for her to be bringing such a unique skill set.
We are looking forward to a year full of fun and learning. Our goal is to deliver academic materials in a fun and engaging way. We believe that a hands-on, student led approach is the best way for young minds to learn. Children like to feel like they have control over their environment, and their classroom is the perfect place for them to exercise that right. A classroom that is set up for purposeful learning will provide educational instruction no matter who decides the time. Our goal is for your child to come home every day full of stories about what they have learned.
