Glyndale Elementary School

Glyndale Elementary is participating in the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl this year. This is a prestigious reading competition created in honor of Helen Ruffin, a distinguished Media Specialist from DeKalb County. Students read a total of ten books chosen from a list of well respected children's books award nominees. They read from October to February and then compete for the coveted trophy! The Glyndale Knights will be competing at the regional level on February 21,2026 and hope to win first place to move on to the state level.
