Parker’s School Rewards Program Benefits Glyndale Elementary School

The Parker Companies has donated proceeds from its School Rewards Program to Glyndale Elementary School, providing discretionary funds for items and opportunities that benefit students and teachers.

Now in its thirteenth year, the program contributes one cent from every gallon of gas sold on the first Wednesday of each month at 10 Parker’s locations across southeast Georgia. Customers who enroll online for a free Parker’s PumpPerks card can nominate their favorite school to receive support.

“Our School Rewards Program brings Parker’s and our customers together to support local education,” said Patrick Parker, president of The Parker Companies. “We are proud to help schools provide resources and opportunities that make a difference for students and teachers.”

Parker said PumpPerks reduces the company’s credit card processing costs, allowing it to pass savings along to customers and support local schools. “We would rather keep those dollars in our community, helping our customers save and our schools succeed,” he added.

Glyndale Elementary School Principal Erin Judkins said the contribution will help cover needs that fall outside the school’s regular funding.

“We are very appreciative of Parker’s continuing support for schools in Glynn County,” said Judkins. “With the help of corporate partners like Parker’s, we can provide additional opportunities for our students and staff.”
